Handling though good, feels skittish at high speeds. the car is not stable or well planted at high speeds as the punto. most importantly, ride quality is bad, it crashes into potholes. Please note, I have not driven the new swift though.
I considered NO other car because Punto offered 2 Airbags, solid build quality, good dynamics and top of the line features. Also, I was satisfied with Fiat ownership experience. The initial ownership was full of excitement while discovering new features (Elaborate MID), Blue & Me, Driver seat height adjustment, Follow me home lights, etc. Due to the state of the local roads (not good) I was thinking about swapping my car's front suspension (2008 fiat grande punto) with some suspension springs from a similar age punto in the hope that it will make the ride a bit softer.
